The hotel was great. Checked in late and they had my reservation correct and the person checking me in had a few tips for dinner at night. The room was clean and very workable. The facilities were very nice. The pool area was large and the tiki bar was in a great location. The hotel is in a nice location next to a shopping center that has everything that you need within walking distance. The staff was nice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location on the beach. Shopping/restaurant/bike rentals nearby. Tiki Bar, pool bar, had great live music, drinks, fun people. Pool is typical, horseshoe shaped. Beach is right there, wide, not too crowded, dogs allowed there which is great. Had a great deal on the price. Staff was average, but not rude like these other reviews state. Biking down the beach or around town via bike routes is fantastic. Didn't eat at the restaurant on site though, too many other options walking distance. Average room had fridge/microwave, many cable channels. We will definitely return here in the spring, before summer starts.

I don't know why there are all these other negative reviews of this hotel. I found nothing wrong with this place, not at all !! It's a great deal and location. Everyone should give this place a try.

Savannah, Georgia is 40 miles south and Savannah International Airport is 35 miles via I-95. Charleston, South Carolina is 90 miles north. I-95 S/N: EXIT 8 (HWY 278). Take Hwy 278 E Apprx 27 Mi To The Island. Take Cross Island Bridge (Toll). Stay in left lane, Exit Cross Island (Becomes Palmetto Bay Road). Continue on this road to Sea Pines Circle. Take 2ndExit to Pope Ave. Travel on Pope Ave to Coligny Circle. Take first right off circle on South Forest Beach Road turn left intp Hotel.
