My husband and I stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon last summer and we were well pleased. Everything was in working order and clean. We were able to walk to the beach easily and there were rest./shops within a short driving distance. We ate the continental breakfast in the office every morning and enjoyed it - good selection and well-stocked. The walk to breakfast each morning was a highlight due to the scenery surrounding the hotel. The lagoons were gorgeous with lots of wildlife and photo opps. We were well-pleased and are thinking of staying there again this summer! 

Don’t be scared!

I had read the reviews and was really scared to stay here! Its not that bad, certainly not a Hilton or Westin, but our room was clean the air conditioner worked, the bathroom worked. It is an older hotel and the furnishings are not that great, but for the price we were pleased. I will not stay in an unsafe or dirty room, this hotel is okay for people on a budget. I stayed two nights and had no problems. We were able to walk to the beach from the hotel as well as a few shops, not being used to the heat and humidity, we did drive to most places. The lagoons are nice and tropical, but we did see several alligators, one came within about 4 feet of us, would scare the dickens out of me to walk up on one at night!
