Each Monday afternoon, Doug Weaver conducts a free, 45-minute golf clinic and demonstration entitled "Where Does the Power Come From?" at the Jones Golf Center. Golfers are encouraged to ask questions during the hands-on, fully interactive class. The audience size is unlimited. Everyone is welcome. Wednesdays – Ongoing Throughout Year
Spend a morning learning how to throw a cast net, cast a line and catch a crab in the marshes of Jarvis Creek. Led by an experienced fisherman, this family oriented program is hands on and fun for all ages. Find out about many of the creatures that live in our salt marshes and what's the best way to catch them. $20 per person. Reservations are required.
Fridays - Ongoing Throughout Year
As one of the most productive environments on the planet, the Salt Marsh functions as a filter and nursery for the coast. On this hands on tour, you will see live oysters, crabs and shrimp up-close. You will learn how to trap and harvest blue crabs, how marsh plants adapt to the salt water, and why we should protect this interesting ecosystem from a docent at the Coastal Discovery Museum. Reservations required.

Join the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry this fall for The Public Art Exhibition on Hilton Head Island, to be held on the beautiful grounds of the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn.
